Professional designation

The Canadian Certified Administrative Professional (CCAP) program, sponsored by the Association of Administrative Professionals, is one of the vehicles available to those interested in advancing their professional development.

All applicants registering as a CCAP student must already be a member of the Association of Administrative Professionals, or simultaneously be in the process of becoming a member and enrolling in the CCAP program. The requirements for work experience and demonstrated core competencies will provide validation/mastery of skills related to the role of an advanced administrative professional.

The educational classes at Conestoga College are available through distance, online and classroom lecture courses. The certification consists of four (4) compulsory courses and three (3) elective courses. Students have seven (7) years to complete their program requirements, starting from the date of their first course.
