Why apply to a program?

Choosing to apply to a program:

  • allows Conestoga to assist in offering courses when you need them, and
  • ensures that courses you have successfully completed are applied to your credential, even if the program outline changes.
Please note: Some part-time programs are considered restricted, which means program application and acceptance must occur prior to registration in individual courses. The program descriptions state if a program is restricted.

How to apply online

  1. Choose a program (make sure you meet admission requirements listed on the program page).
  2. Complete and submit the program application form*. A non-refundable fee of $35 must be paid at the time of application. Paying the application fee does not guarantee you will receive an offer to your program of choice. It is your responsibility to ensure you meet the program requirements before applying.
    • *If you are applying to Practical Nursing (PSW to PN Bridge) (2077), apply online through ontariocolleges.ca.
    • For programs with subject or post-secondary education requirements:
      • electronic transcripts will be accepted if received directly from the source institution by email to admissions@conestogac.on.ca, or through MyCreds.
      • officially printed transcripts can be submitted by mail or in person in the original sealed envelope from the source institution. Opened copies, as well as those that have been photocopied/printed/scanned, will not be accepted.
    • Applicants with documents (transcripts) from educational institutions outside of Canada, or where the language of instruction was not English, must have their documents evaluated by an approved credential evaluation service to demonstrate English language proficiency.
    • Conestoga College provides credential assessments. To request an assessment, applicants can complete the Assessment of International Credentials for Admissions and Credit Transfer online form. These assessments are for use at Conestoga only, and all documents must be translated into English before evaluation. If applicants require a more diverse assessment, they should have an ICAS or WES evaluation completed.
  3. Once you have received your "offer of admission" by mail or email, you can register for courses on the program page course list through the Student Portal.
  4. Once you have successfully completed the required courses you can submit the application to graduate form. Please note: ensure your final grades have been posted prior to submitting the form.
