Course description

Following a brief review of translating tools and resources, this course continues to build on the development of knowledge and skills essential to the task of translating, including French grammar, spelling, writing, translation techniques, research, vocabulary building, and comprehension. Topics covered in this course include pronouns, prepositions and verbs, translating prepositions, and words such as challenge and issue. Translating and French exercises are incorporated throughout the course with a view to solidify learning and improve translating skills.
