Course description

The Field Placement course will allow students to apply knowledge gained in theory courses to the critical care clinical setting and meet patient care needs unique to critical care. The preceptorship model is used to assist the learner in gaining specific experiences which enable him/her to develop and enhance competencies in a critical care setting and meet entry to practice competencies as outlined by the course objectives.
