Course description

Experience gained in neurology, cardiovascular, respirology, gastrointestinal and renal nursing will provide opportunity for students to apply theory concepts to reality in the critical care setting. The student will develop his/her own learning objectives and the placement should facilitate meeting these objectives. The preceptorship model is used to assist the learner in gaining specific experiences which enable him/her to develop and enhance competencies in a critical care setting.
