Course description

This course will promote principles of emergent practice with school aged children. The Apprentice will evaluate a variety of programs and contexts available for school age children and assess how these environments support school age children’s development in all domains through the application of the principles of emergent practice. They will demonstrate positive guidance techniques that promote the development of self-esteem and pro-social behaviour.
