Course description

This is an intermediate mechanical design course that includes part modeling, assembly Sheetmetal and Weldment generation. The course focuses on the process and procedures used to complete a particular task and includes hands-on practice. Emphasis is on the efficient use of SolidWorks software when generating design models and builds on the SolidWorks - Introduction course.~Recommended: DRWG1550 SolidWorks - Introduction, proficiency using Windows Operating System, mechanical design experience, and the ability to read mechanical engineering drawings.
