Description

This micro-credential introduces students to SolidWorks, a mechanical design automation software. It covers parametric modeling of parts and assemblies, as well as creating drawings. The training emphasizes process-based learning, using case studies to illustrate commands, options, and menus. It also covers tasks such as part modeling, assembly, Sheetmetal, and Weldment generation. Students gain hands-on experience and learn efficient use of SolidWorks for design modeling.
