Providing information and guidance to help individuals navigate transitions in their career, work and/or education is important and rewarding. This micro-credential builds on your learning from Employment and Career Coaching Essentials: Part I and is intended as the next level for those aiming to work in employment and career-focused service agencies. If you wish to continue your studies, all three courses can be applied to the Career Development Professional graduate certificate. Admission requirements: Students must have completed an Ontario College Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Degree or equivalent OR have a minimum of 5 (five) years of full-time work experience, within the past ten years, as an employment counsellor, career advisor, human resources professional or similar role.
Awarded by the Registrar's Office to those who have successfully completed a defined list of related courses that focus on a specific competency. Typically less than 136 hours and include assessment. The quality criteria are determined by the college.
