Course description

This course will provide an overview of the most common issues related to psychological health and safety in the workplace. Focus will be on enhancing knowledge of the tools and assessments in the Canadian Standard on Psychological Health and Safety; including stakeholder responsibilities. The goal will be to facilitate early intervention and prevention strategies that will promote employee's psychological well-being. Content includes toxic work environments, common psychological health conditions and practical tools that can be applied by HR professionals, managers and supervisors both at the organizational and employee program level as per the "Standard".
