Return to work may be the most visible acitivity for Human Resources and Occupational Health and Safety professionals, as part of a Disabiltiy Management program. This course will provide the tools for prevention and complex intervention when working with employees experincing a mental health condition. Cognitive Demands Analysis is a tool that the workplace can implement to support the employees return to work, the ranking scale will be reviewed that will enhance the communication with Health Care providers when planning return to work. The nature of the condition can drive the activity and accommodation that will support the employee and the employer in the long term to ensure success and positive outcomes. A review of relevant legislation will be included in the content and discussion.
