The focus of this course is fundamental occupational hygiene principles, anticipation, recognition, and control as it relates to workplace exposures to hazardous chemical, biological and physical agents. Basic health effects caused by workplace exposures to toxic materials will also be examined. Evaluation aspects will be addressed in the Sampling and Analysis course.
