Course description

Admission: Current Certificate of Registration - RN or RPN. Insertion and use of central venous lines as a specific application for Intravenous Therapy presents unique responsibilities for Health Care Professionals. Understanding of these responsibilities is developed in this course through a practical approach which describes insertion and care of these lines and the accompanying risks and complications. Scrubs/lab coat attire and closed shoes are expected during course. This course is part of the Infusion Nursing Practices micro-credential.
