Course description

This hybrid course applies a variety of operating room set-ups and nursing considerations for surgical procedures including gynaecological, laser, general, endoscopy, urology, thoracic, cardiovascular and Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS) into a lab and clinical setting It combines an in-depth study of common procedures with applications for these surgical services. The student is required to successfully complete all clinical skills labs, clinical practice days, online and in class theory classes and examinations to be successful in this course.
