Course description

Current Certificate of Registration RN This course includes a variety of O.R. set ups and nursing considerations for specific procedures such as general surgeries; gynecological, ophthalmology and ear, nose, throat (ENT) surgeries. Other topics included are laser and latex allergy. This course consists of the following components: theory, three labs and two clinical practice days. The student is required to successfully complete all three components of the course. This course is part of the Perioperative Nursing - Registered Nurse program.
