Course description

This course will provide students with a practical understanding from a leadership perspective of human resource practices in health care organizations. This course will cover a broad range of topics including working within unionized environments, legal and ethical considerations of human management, performance management, and techniques to maximize employee engagement. Through practical examples, case studies and proven human resource management techniques, students will be equipped to support employees and staff within health care settings.
