This course will provide the student with an introduction to recruitment and selection and the foundation of these practices. Specific topics will include: legal issues, reliability and validity, job analysis, advertising, recruitment, job performance, selection and orientation, basic screening, testing, interviewing techniques and decision making strategies. Legislation pertaining to recruitment and selection will be studied.
