Course participants will be introduced to the history of role-play and its relationship to adult education theory and praxis in Canada and abroad. Different types of role-play (e.g., spontaneous student-to-students role play, carefully planned live actor simulation, and forum theatre scenarios) will be discussed as will the benefits and potential challenges related to each approach.
