Course description

Building on Foundations of Early Learning Environment, this course expands principles of supporting play and inquiry within a preschool program. The Apprentice will summarize the value of play and inquiry learning for preschool children within a context of development. They will defend the importance of promoting the development of self-esteem and pro-social behaviour and will demonstrate strategies that foster positive social environments for preschool children. Through a lens of integrated development that focuses on multiple domains, the Apprentice will plan and implement learning experiences that foster relationship building and a positive sense of self.
