Course description

A critical component of supporting the mental health of employees in the workplace is communication. This course will enhance the skills of HR professionals, managers, and supervisors to promote helping relationships and therapeutic communication. Explore the human helping process within the workplace in non-technical language and provide guidance through complex concepts on helping. Focus on problem-solving that incorporates attitudes and skills that will support your employees and further promote human performance during times when understanding is required. Ethical issues with helping relationships will also be explored.
