Course description

Capacity Canada’s Modern Board was developed by governance experts and offers unique and comprehensive training for current and future board members to learn the tools they need to drive boards to their goals. You will receive an in-depth introduction for current and prospective board members to learn the tools and techniques they need to advance modern governance, and moving their missions to achieving positive outcomes for communities. Through discussions, reflections, and case scenarios of board governance, you will learn the key tools and techniques to become a successful contributing member of a non-profit board. In addition to the online learning, you will have an opportunity to engage in dialogue with leading experts in board governance in the form of virtual roundtables, as well as ongoing support.
