Course description

In this course students will be introduced to the role and responsibilities of the health office administrator working in a variety of hospital units. The organizational structure, patient care units and general departments of hospitals will be discussed, as well common risk management and communication challenges. Students will be introduced to the essentials of the hospital patient record and administrative processes required for effective hospital unit management.
