Course description

In this course students will gain hands-on practice performing administrative tasks common to the general practitioner's office. Through the use of practice management software students will work through family medical-office simulations that include patient registration, triage, scheduling, OHIP insured and uninsured OHIP insured billing with focus on the transcription, creation, and maintenance of associated documents in the electronic medical record (EMR).
