About the program

Business - Marketing is a fully online, part-time diploma program designed for people seeking a high-level overview of the marketing industry. The program focuses on the fundamental principles of marketing and gives you hands-on skills to gain employment in the marketing industry. The program offers courses in advertising, graphic design, internet, research, sales, digital and retail while developing teamwork, communication, and general business skills. In addition, you will participate in the design and presentation of a marketing plan and gain a general understanding of today's marketing world. This program is accredited by the CPSA Institute as providing all 35 hours of pre-requisite education toward the Certified Sales Associate designation. Upon successful completion of this program, you will also earn your Sales Certificate from the CPSA Institute.

This program is also offered in full-time delivery.

All courses must be successfully completed within 7 years of acceptance into the program.

Course fees to complete this program total approximately *$9,900.00.

*This is the estimated amount for domestic students and may differ if students take equivalent courses. Fees are paid when registering for each individual course and are subject to change each term.

Admission requirements

  • Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), or equivalent, OR 19 years of age or older
  • Grade 12 compulsory English, C or U, or equivalent, OR Conestoga College Preparatory Communications (COMM1251)

Graduate opportunities

This two-year program prepares graduates for an entry-level marketing position in a wide range of employment settings including retailers, advertising agencies, product or service industries, non-profit organizations, small businesses, and self-employment.

  • Develop learning and development strategies to enhance professional growth in the field.
  • Apply entrepreneurial strategies to identify and respond to new career opportunities that might include contract employment, and self-employment initiatives.
  • Operate within a framework of organizational policies and practices, when conducting business of the organization.
