The Primary Care Nursing Micro‑credential is an online, part‑time program that enhances Registered Nurses' competencies for primary care practice. Over 12 weeks, learners complete four stackable courses focused on health promotion, chronic disease and multi‑morbidity management, patient education, care coordination, and system navigation. Aligned with national primary care nursing competencies, the curriculum emphasizes evidence‑informed, team‑based approaches to improving patient outcomes.
Designed for RNs currently in primary care or preparing to enter the field, the flexible asynchronous format allows participants to apply new knowledge directly in practice while continuing to work.

Awarded by the Registrar's Office to those who have successfully completed a defined list of related courses that focus on a specific competency. Typically less than 136 hours and include assessment. The quality criteria are determined by the college.
