The Manufacturing Leadership micro-credential prepares you to succeed. Developed in partnership with Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters, Conestoga College, Niagara College, and Mohawk College, the micro-credential helps leaders in manufacturing plan and organize work for maximum efficiency, develop engaged and inclusive teams, and maintain a safe and healthy work environment. The micro-credential consists of six online asynchronous courses that are fully immersive and faculty-led, delivered over seven weeks. You will learn how to work in a team environment, supervisory responsibilities, how to improve processes, people management, how to safely support your employees, and trends and technologies emerging in the manufacturing industry. Recognizing that balancing professional development with day-to-day operations can be challenging, these courses are offered entirely online, allowing individuals to take part in a course anywhere, anytime, and in any order. To meet the needs of larger teams, in-person group program delivery can also be arranged.
Awarded by the Registrar's Office to those who have successfully completed a defined list of related courses that focus on a specific competency. Typically less than 136 hours and include assessment. The quality criteria are determined by the college.
