This micro-credential will support faculty in thinking about Artificial Intelligence (AI) and how it will impact the future of assessment in the post-secondary system. Courses will provide ideas and guidance in support of students' use of AI in assessments, as well as how faculty may use AI in assessment generation and design. Faculty will consider re-thinking assessment practices, as well as consider how academic offenses may need to shift in future. These courses will also be included in the Post-Secondary Teaching certificate elective options.
Awarded by the Registrar's Office to those who have successfully completed a defined list of related courses that focus on a specific competency. Typically less than 136 hours and include assessment. The quality criteria are determined by the college.
