International students come to Canadian post-secondary classrooms with unique academic and cultural backgrounds and needs. This micro-credential will increase faculty knowledge of educational differences globally and explore ways to create effective classroom support. These courses can be used as credit towards the Post-Secondary Teaching certificate program.
Awarded by the Registrar's Office to those who have successfully completed a defined list of related courses that focus on a specific competency. Typically less than 136 hours and include assessment. The quality criteria are determined by the college.
