Are you teaching in a STEM, trades or apprenticeship program? This micro-credential explores instructional strategies and best practices for teaching in technical programs. In this series, you will look at ways to establish an effective learning environment, apply active learning strategies, assess different forms of learning, minimize learning barriers, and use educational technology to support student learning. These micro-credential courses also provide credits towards the Post-Secondary Teaching Certificate.

For successful completion of this micro-credential, students will successfully complete and pass all courses listed.

Awarded by the Registrar's Office to those who have successfully completed a defined list of related courses that focus on a specific competency. Typically less than 136 hours and include assessment. The quality criteria are determined by the college.
