Description

Designed for those interested in the early learning and childcare sector, (including licenced child care, home child care and EarlyON) this 3-course micro-credential is an introduction to obtaining the full credential to work in the field. Courses will address topics such as the importance of play and learning, children's development and how to create a safe and engaging play environment. Courses can be taken in any order, and once students have completed all three, will receive a micro-credential from Conestoga College.

For successful completion of this micro-credential, students will successfully complete and pass all courses listed.

Awarded by the Registrar's Office to those who have successfully completed a defined list of related courses that focus on a specific competency. Typically less than 136 hours and include assessment. The quality criteria are determined by the college.
