To facilitate deep learning and maintain fair assessment, educators must inspire students to produce authentic, original work. This online micro-credential explores key concepts, practices, and strategies related to academic integrity. You will take an in-depth look at topics like plagiarism and intentionality, how to prevent academic misconduct using technology, contract cheating, and barriers to reporting academic misconduct. These courses also provide credits towards the Post-Secondary Teaching Certificate.

For successful completion of this micro-credential, students will successfully complete and pass all courses listed.

Recognition of Professional Development


Awarded by the Registrar's Office to those who have successfully completed a defined list of related courses or workshops that focus on a specific discipline. Typically less than 136 hours and may or may not include formal assessment. The criteria are determined by the college.
