Recognition of Professional Development


Teaching is challenging, and it is more than technique. Teaching is a personal and professional journey in which we interact with many complex variables and develop our teaching perspectives, philosophy and persona. This online micro-credential helps you to reflect on your beliefs on teaching and on your prior experiences. Join other educators to explore theories and research about how teachers manage challenges, exercise self-care, and develop a teaching identity. These courses also provide credits for the post-secondary Teaching Certificate.

Completion Requirements

For successful completion of this micro-credential, students will successfully complete and pass all courses listed.

Recognition of Professional Development

Awarded by the Registrar's Office to those who have successfully completed a defined list of related courses or workshops that focus on a specific discipline. Typically less than 136 hours and may or may not include formal assessment. The criteria are determined by the college.
