Teaching is challenging, and it is more than technique. Teaching is a personal and professional journey in which we interact with many complex variables and develop our teaching perspectives, philosophy and persona. This online micro-credential helps you to reflect on your beliefs on teaching and on your prior experiences. Join other educators to explore theories and research about how teachers manage challenges, exercise self-care, and develop a teaching identity. These courses also provide credits for the post-secondary Teaching Certificate.
Awarded by the Registrar's Office to those who have successfully completed a defined list of related courses that focus on a specific competency. Typically less than 136 hours and include assessment. The quality criteria are determined by the college.
