Course description

Information systems and technologies are the most important tools available to business leaders for achieving higher levels of efficiency and productivity in business operations. This course in management information systems (MIS) provides a comprehensive overview of information systems used by business organizations while drawing connections between MIS and business performance. Students will learn how management information systems are selected, designed, managed, and monitored to facilitate the information required to transform organizations, and why are they so essential for running and managing a business today.
