Course description

In this CNC Lathe programming course, the students will be introduced to CNC 2 axis Lathe Turning Programming. The subject of Lathe machining will cover the calculation of Lathe coordinates together with the calculation of rpm and feed for different lathe cutting tools. Students will cover Roughing and finishing cycles of outside and inside diameter of different parts. Application of different grooving and threading cycles will also be part of the learning. All major applications will be demonstrated through Mastercam.
