This course covers advanced topics in inbound and outbound logistics in a global setting, and the management of risks associated with the coordination of transnational supply chains. The course will cover topics such as containerization, intermodal freight transport, implications of the expanding of the Panama Canal, the use of drones, automated vehicles, and other innovations.
