Course description

In today's fast-paced digital landscape, effective online communication requires a distinct approach from traditional media. Students will develop the skills to strategically plan, create, optimize, and manage compelling, concise, and results-driven messaging while navigating platform constraints and audience expectations. Topics will embed sustainability considerations and include determining content purpose and function within organizational objectives, defining brand voice and tone, the strategic use of language for SEO, techniques for creating engaging, resonant content, and effective content management. Emphasizing inclusive and responsible communication that meets organizational objectives, the course encourages students to consider diverse perspectives and accessibility in their digital content. Students will also explore AI-driven tools for campaign optimization and their ethical use in content creation.
