Course description

One of the key skills HR professionals need to embody and continually demonstrate is the ability to balance the needs of employees with the needs of the business. Critical thinking and having a good understanding of the importance of business ethics will enable students to approach problem solving, decision making, and utilize sound judgement in any given situation. This course will introduce students to the process of critical thinking as well as business ethics and will focus on applying both to a variety of HR functions, including recruitment and selection; employee performance and development; terminations; accommodations; and general business practices. Learn the framework and theory of critical thinking and business ethics.
