This course looks at Intercultural Communication and examines the various components of culture. This course will help students gain an understanding of intercultural communication and multiculturalism are necessary in the workforce/school settings, and they will examine potential barriers to successful intercultural communication. Students will examine the concepts of ethnocentrism, discrimination and globalization, and gain an understanding of various forms of communication. This course helps students to understand and respect the diverse opinions, values, belief systems and contributions of others.
