Intercultural Communications

Course description

Learn the definition of culture and be introduced to intercultural communication theories such as differences in gestures, personal spaces, and customs. By identifying intercultural issues in North American society, student learn how they can apply intercultural communication theories to their daily lives and how they can respect and understand persons from other cultures. As part of the course, students will communicate with people from other cultures electronically.
