The main objective of this course is to examine the levels of discrimination present in society to help students gain the experience and tools to challenge inequity in the schools and workforce. Gain an understanding of terminology related to marginalized groups in Canada. By identifying issues related to racism and other forms of discrimination in North American society, students will analyse the various levels of bias and prejudice present in our society while examining their positionality.
