Students explore the administrative duties of a construction manager involved in a commercial construction project. Learning is supported by examining administrative duties and processes including project bidding and tendering, contract award, construction site set-up, managing shop drawing process, change order procedures, progress claim process, job cost reporting and project closing out. Students use a variety of learning tools including written processes, reviewing standard industry forms and documents, multimedia examples and websites. Students participate in interactive videos, discussions, quizzes, and practical project administration scenarios. This course is delivered through Ontario Learn.
