This course provides an overview and interpretation of relevant and increasing Health and Safety Legislation. Students will be able to identify and compare the legislated responsibilities of employers, supervisors and workers. There will be a review and application of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, Industrial Regulations, Designated Substance Regulations and WHMIS Regulations (Global Harmonized System (GHS).
