Course description

Vascular diseases are a leading cause of preventable death and disability in Canada with most vascular disease resulting from long term exposure to vascular risk factors. In this course, we will focus on peripheral arterial and vascular venous disease and disease of the aorta through discussion on the pathophysiology of the disease, patient assessment, diagnostic tools and nursing interventions.
