Course description
This course is designed to introduce students to aspects of physics and chemistry at a college level. This introductory course will therefore explore the fundamental concepts of physics with respect to such applications as measurement, ratios and proportions, density, force and acceleration, heat transfer and the thermal expansion of solids. This course will also explore a fundamental understanding of basic chemistry and chemical reactions. An emphasis is placed on problem solving to illustrate the practical application of these concepts of science in technology.
