Course description
An introduction to electronic documents, imaging and micrographic technology is provided in this course. You will explore how these technologies can be applied to records management, short and long term storage and retrieval for active and inactive documents. Topics covered include, metadata, life expectancy of electronic storage media, secure storage media, migration, and image file formats.
