Course description

Develop understanding of library cataloguing using the RDA cataloguing rules for creating descriptive catalogue records, through use of the RDA online Toolkit. Learn to use MARC coding and ISBD punctuation for cataloguing bibliographic records in an automated environment. Recognize the changes in MARC coding resulting from RDA cataloguing rule.
