Course description

This course is designed to provide the student with an overview of the Canadian and Ontario court systems, and an introduction to the roles and responsibilities of a law clerk. This course introduces students to important elements of the Canadian legal system. Topics include an introduction to basic fields, sources of law, methods of legal analysis and research, court jurisdiction and structure, the constitution, and legal ethics and the regulation of legal professions.
