Course description

This course is an in-depth exploration of the use of French in today's business world. All aspects of the language are covered: listening, reading, speaking and writing accurately, including grammar. The course will be taught in French with lots of oral communication. Some general topics include business greeting protocol, conducting interviews, writing a resume and cover letter, using telephone protocol and writing memos and reports. Some specific topics include advertising, banking, insurance and Internet terminology. It is strongly recommended that students have completed LANG1080 French IV before taking this course.
