Using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) effectively involves a good knowledge of data sources, understanding of data retrieval and storage best practices and responsible data governance. With a focus on practical applications, students will learn to retrieve, cleanse and prepare data for Geospatial analysis following proper data governance procedures.
