Course description

What does it mean to be well? This course will introduce students to the concept of wellness. Students will develop strategies for a healthy lifestyle in all aspects of life. After exploring the Wellness model, we will delve into each of the dimensions of wellness: Physical, emotional, mental/intellectual, interpersonal/social, spiritual, environmental/planetary, financial, and vocational/occupational wellness. We will also explore other dimensions, such as cultural, creative and digital wellness. This course provides students with the opportunity to evaluate their present lifestyle, identify their successes and develop areas requiring personal growth. Students will be encouraged to think beyond the course and develop wellness for life!
