Course description

The TSSA 500 hour prerequisite of proven field work on appliances greater than 400,000 BTH/hr for G.1 certification is proving to be a substantial barrier for some G.2's who meet ALL OTHER REQUIREMENTS to attend an approved G-1 course. TSSA has authorized and approved Conestoga College to offer this G-1 GAP course which is recognized as an equivalent to the G-1 supervised 500 hour field work requirement. You must enroll in an approved G.1 course within 18 months of completion of this GAP course. This course cannot be used to challenge G.1 training requirements.B149.1-20, B149.2-20 AND B149.3-20 are required for this class as well as a selection of typical hand tools and a multi meter.Prerequisites: A valid G-2 gas certificate with 2 years post certificate experience.
