Course description

This course is the third of five Gas Technician 2 courses that must be successfully completed to be eligible to write the TSSA G2 examination. Each course is 84hrs and is comprised of theoretical and practical studies. This particular course covers modules 16, 17& 22. This G-2 course is based on the provincial curriculum designed and approved by the Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA). Individuals who wish to work on gas-fired equipment whether residential, commercial or industrial must be certified by the Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA). The G-2 certification is very useful in the HVAC industry and allows the holder to work on appliances up to 400,000 BTU/hr inputs.
