Course description

UDL provides an important framework for assessment. Some assessment practices can unknowingly put up barriers that prevent students from demonstrating their achievement of learning. In this course we explore assessment practices that accommodate diverse learners. These practices include assessment of prior knowledge, using formative assessments as checks for learning, rubrics to clarify success criteria and eliminate bias.
